Murfreesboro residents Dale and Heather Clear are purchasing Hank’s Honky Tonk from original owner Ken Strode, who opened the bar at 2341 Memorial Blvd in 2017.

The new owners appear to be committed to staying true to the Hank’s Honky Tonk brand, while incorporating some upgrades.

The Clears hope to improve the honky tonk’s audio and video systems and to include new entertainment options such as sports viewing events, according to the ‘Boro Pulse. Dale told the ‘Boro Pulse that he has been working with Strode in the transition.

Hank’s Honky Tonk brings together a restaurant and a venue. It features a diverse lineup of artists, from country and blues to Southern rock, according to the Hank’s Honky Tonk website.

What Now Nashville reached out to the new ownership for further details but did not hear back before the time of publication.
