Honey Rock Books and Cafe has announced it has secured a brick-and-mortar location for its bookstore cafe, according to a recent Facebook announcement. While they have yet to announce the exact location, it will be in the Gallatin and Hendersonville area.
The Lezcano family is behind the concept. A family of booklovers, they decided to take action after a popular bookstore closed in 2023 in the Hendersonville area. In 2024, they began to design the concept for Honey Rock Books and Cafe and have been holding pop-ups around town, sharing books and coffee with the community. Throughout 2025, they have been on a journey to open a physical location for their bookstore cafe.
“We love knowledge and the open exchange of ideas through classic and modern works because we are guided by our faith in God’s commitment to truth and light,” the Honey Rock Books and Cafe website states. “We believe books both new and old are doorways into human experience, wisdom and imagination. We wish to cultivate that shared love of reading within the community and aim to create an enjoyable atmosphere to do so for all families.”
The team behind the bookstore cafe has been asking for investments from the community to bring their concept to life.
What Now Nashville got in touch with co-owner Estrella Lezcano to inquire about details on the brick-and-mortar location, but she was not immediately available to comment. The family plans to announce further details at the end of this month at a pop-up event.
