A new entertainment space is growing closer to opening at Nashville Yards at 931 Church St. EVO Entertainment, based in Austin, previously announced a vast 48,000-square-foot project at the development, spanning 48,000 square feet and featuring dine-in cinema options, bowling, gaming and a restaurant and bar.

Now, the concept has undergone a rebrand amid a break between Elevate Entertainment Group, which operates EVO, and investment company Es Vedra Cinemas, according to the Nashville Business Journal. Es Vedra Cinemas is taking over the concept for its portfolio, branding it as Hooky Entertainment with plans for Hooky Nashville Yards to open in the fall.

What Now Nashville got in touch with a spokesperson at Es Vedra Cinemas, who confirmed the location in a phone call.

Hooky Entertainment describes itself as “vibrant spaces where people connect, unwind and make unforgettable memories together,” according to its LinkedIn page. It advertises state-of-the-art theaters with luxury recliners; a fresh food and beverage menu for elevated dining; and immersive activities such as bowling, arcades, multiplayer gaming and event spaces.

“Our venues blend cutting-edge technology with laid-back comfort and electric energy,” the LinkedIn page states. We don’t just provide entertainment — we provide a place to belong, connect, and make memories.”

Es Vedra Cinemas is also the parent company to other brands, including Violet Crown, ShowBiz and Time Square Grand Slam. Hooky has 16 venues across five states, according to the LinkedIn page. In addition to the Nashville Yards location, there is a Hooky entertainment center heading to Hutto, Texas.
