According to a press release, a new taproom is making its way to Tennessee. Hoppin’ will open at the upcoming East Bank mixed-use development alongside Shake Shack later this year at 2300 Bowline Avenue. A more precise grand opening date is forthcoming.
Local franchise owners Josh and Logan Mcilwain will oversee Hoppin’ Nashville. The duo was drawn to Hoppin’ because of “the self-pour technology, the inclusive and inviting atmosphere, and the people-forward thinking that starts with the corporate team,” states the release.
The Hoppin’ concept is unique in that it’s a self-serve taproom where customers utilize a technology called PourMyBeer, eliminating long wait times and streamlining efficiency. Guests first scan their ID and payment method, then have access to Hoppin’s 60+ self-pour taps with the ability to pour as much or as little as they want, allowing them to try a variety of drinks before deciding on one, as stated on its franchising website. Hoppin’ will also offer a full bar menu served by bartenders.
Hoppin’ prides itself on being a community-driven environment, hosting a variety of live entertainment and events across its locations and offering space for local food trucks to serve guests.
Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Hoppin’ started in 2017 and now has three open locations across two states, with five additional locations scheduled to open by the end of 2024. To learn more about Hoppin’, visit its website and follow along on Facebook and Instagram.
