Midtown’s mixed-use building Kenect will soon welcome a new dining option, according to a press release. The parent company of the residential complex, Chicago-based Akara Partners partnered with Infuse Hospitality to bring the new concept called MRKT, opening in the coming months at 800 19th Ave. S.
An exact opening timeline is forthcoming, though it will likely debut by the spring. MRKT will serve as a gathering spot for Kenect residents as well as a new neighborhood coffee option for Nashvillans in the area.
MKRT is slated to focus on to-go food and beverage options and will feature a full espresso bar for coffee options, according to the release. Although the goal of this new cafe is primarily to add value to the residents of Kenect’s apartments, the cafe will also serve as a new quick-service coffee or lunch spot to many of the nearby businesses in Midtown. CEO of Akara Partners, Rajen Shastri, further described the incoming amenity.
“MRKT offers a significant value-add for residents at Kenect,” Shastri said in the release. “This partnership allows us to tap into Infuse Hospitality’s network of in-demand products, elevating our amenity-rich buildings and hospitality services by providing a seamless experience for the public, our residential members, and our social and coworking members,” he added.
