After launching its first Nashville store last year in the 12South neighborhood, La La Land Kind Cafe is seeking to expand in the city. It is eyeing a second location at 4012 Hillsboro Pike, according to a permit filing.
La La Land Kind Cafe launched in Dallas in 2019, helmed by founder and CEO Francois Reihani, as a brick-and-mortar evolution of La La Foundation. The foundation aims to support foster youth and individuals in need, and La La Land Kind Cafe provided a platform for paid internships for those transitioning out of the foster care system.
Now, La La Land has expanded to 18 locations in Texas, nine in California and three in Arizona.
“From the all-white design to the pops of yellow, to the way you are treated the moment you walk in, every detail is intentional,” the La La Land website states. “Our goal is to give you a genuine sense of joy, to make it feel like, even for a moment, you have been taken somewhere special.”
The menu features signature drinks such as the upsidedown latte, the lavender bloom and the French toast latte. They also offer toasts such as truffle burrata and avocado toast.
What Now Nashville has reached out to La La Land Kind Cafe for additional details. As of now, an opening timeline is unclear.
