M.L. Rose Craft Beer & Burgers is rebranding. It is adopting a new name, M.L. Rose Neighborhood Pub, to usher it into a new era. The goal of the rebrand is to circle back to the brand’s original intent: to serve the community as a neighborhood pub.
“Melrose Neighborhood Pub was founded 17 years ago,” CEO Austin Ray said in a statement to What Now Nashville. “As we grew, we morphed into M.L.Rose Craft Beer & Burgers to focus on those two growing industries. We have done an amazing job at both craft beer and burgers, selling more craft beer than anyone else in Tennessee, paired with competitive and craveable burgers. The return to our roots as M.L.Rose Neighborhood Pub allows us to continue flexing those strengths while also more naturally offering people our other experiences.”
Ray views the rebrand as a natural shift, given the role of M.L. Rose in the community. The spot is already known for its beers, in addition to its food menu that centers around burgers, sandwiches and shareable snacks.
“M.L.Rose is already a neighborhood pub where our customers can choose their own adventure, and the brand shift much better reflects it,” Ray said. “There’s a value proposition here as well, in a market where inflation is hitting consumers relentlessly. When we first opened, you’d literally see the plumber and the mayor at the bar, drinking the way they want to drink.”
The rebrand will be reflected across the brand’s seven locations — Capitol View, Franklin, Gallatin, Inglewood, Melrose, Mt. Juliet and Sylvan Park.
M.L. Rose has been in an era of change lately. Its Inglewood location opened during the summer, and it has another location on the way to Murfreesboro that could open by the end of the year.
M.L. Rose Neighborhood Pub will be rolling out new branding and signage in phases across their locations over the next two months.
