Nashville Restaurant Dalts American Grill Bids Adieu
Dalts American Grill announced its closure in a social media post on December 22. The restaurant noted that it was saddened to share the news but thanked its patrons for years of support.
“We are sad to make the announcement that we are now permanently closed. A BIG thank you to all of our guests for the great memories!” the post read. Following the post, the restaurant said it chose not to renew its lease, citing ongoing financial challenges stemming from the pandemic.
The announcement prompted an outpouring of support from loyal customers, many of whom shared personal memories tied to the longtime Nashville spot.
“I’m going to echo Hayley Spurlock in saying that I am going to miss all of our regulars and also my coworkers and managers! Next month would have been 4 years for me, and I started eating at Dalts as a teenager in 1991. I will always hold Dalts close to my heart and cherish all of the memories and friendships made there,” Suzie Rae, a follower, commented.
“RIP Dalts. My first serving job taught me so much about good service and hospitality! Gonna miss all my regulars and all the familiar faces,” another user, Rebekah Hopkins, said.
