One of the newly announced dining options to join the upcoming Tanger Factory Outlet shopping mall this year is a mysterious concept called Tanger Pizza, which, according to construction permits, lists Wesley Keegan as its owner. Its address will be 4060 Cane Ridge Parkway #615.
The new restaurant does not currently have a website, social media, or any online presence yet. It’s still early in the opening stages, which means it will likely be a month or two before more information is released about the concept.
However, owner Keegan is already a veteran of the Nashville food and beverage industry. If his name sounds familiar, it’s likely because he’s the founder, owner, and brewmaster of Nashville’s own TailGate Brewery, which has been in operation since 2014 and has four different taprooms in the Nashville metro area, one in Chatanooga, and one in Hendersonville.
TailGate is popular for being a Tennessee-native brand that doesn’t distribute outside the state, offering almost 40 rotating craft beers on draft and multiple canned beers for sale across a number of local retailers and grocery stores.
Although not much is known about Keegan’s new concept Tanger Pizza, customers can expect it to open as early as a few months from now or sometime in 2024, at the latest. The majority of the Tanger project in Antioch is projected to open this fall, according to a recent press release.
Pizza and beer go hand in hand, which Keegan has already implemented with some of the TailGate taproom food menus across Nashville. It’s likely that TailGate beers will be served at Tanger Pizza, though we won’t know for sure until a beer board application is submitted.
What Now Nashville will continue to update the developing details of Tanger Pizza as they are released. Keegan could not immediately be reached for comment on his concept.
