Couple Martin Frias and Jessica Naranjo are planning to open a new restaurant at 11804 Lebanon Road in Mt. Juliet. Casa Mezcal Mexican Grill will open this year.
The couple also operates Nashville’s Taqueria Sope Express at 2610 B Clarksville Pike.
Naranjo confirmed the new restaurant in a phone call with What Now Nashville and said they are expecting to open the new restaurant in about a month and a half or two months.
The sit-down restaurant will serve made-from-scratch food, have an outdoor patio and plans to seat 95-99 customers, according to reporting by The Tennessean.
Naranjo declined to provide further details about the concept at this time, with plans to reveal more information in the coming weeks.
