Nobu Hospitality has revealed plans for a Nashville hotel in the East Bank along the Cumberland River. It will join the forthcoming Oracle campus development, according to the Nobu Hotels website.
Nobu will bring both a hotel and the brand’s signature Nobu restaurant to the development. The hotel will feature 120 rooms and suites, event spaces, a lobby café, luxury spa and fitness center and an infinity pool on the rooftop.
“Just minutes from downtown and the city’s iconic attractions, Nobu Hotel Nashville will bring the brand’s signature blend of modern luxury, Japanese-inspired design and vibrant energy to one of the city’s most exciting new destinations,” the website states.
Nobu Matsuhisa opened his flagship Nobu restaurant in New York City in 1994 alongside partners like actor Robert De Niro, producer Meir Teper and restaurateur Drew Nieporent. Matsuhisa is known for crafting traditional Japanese cuisine with touches of Peruvian elements. Popular dishes include Black Cod Miso and Yellowtail with Jalapeño.
Nobu has hotels and restaurants around the globe, including in major U.S. cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas and Miami. There are also locations in cities in other countries, with spots in London, Barcelona, Los Cabos, Dubai and Manila. There are additional restaurants on the way to New Cairo and Madrid.
As of now, an opening timeline has not been announced and the hotel is still in the early stages of development.
