PennePazze, an authentic Italian pasta restaurant which debuted in 2020, will be expanding to another location in The Fountains at Gateway, Murfreesboro at 1430 Medical Center Pkwy sometime this spring.
An exact opening date has not yet been decided, however owner and CEO Rony Stark told What Now Nashville that the restaurant is expected to open within the coming months.
“I’m excited to bring PennePazze to a new market and bring great food to Murfreesboro,” Stark said in a phone interview.
Stark has said that his goal is to open at least 100 PennePazze locations in order to expand the brand over the next 10 years.
Known for its handmade pasta, PennePazze offers unique takes on Italian classics such as the amatriciana pasta, which is tagliatelle with tomato sauce, pancetta, garlic and onion, as well as crema di broccoli pasta which features radiatore, broccoli, four cheeses and roasted pine nuts, according to the online menu. PennePazze also serves wood-fired pizzas, salads, and dessert. The menu will be the same at the second location, and will have an emphasis on farm-to-table ingredients.
The Murfreesboro location will neighbor businesses like Nothing Bundt Cakes, Steakhouse Five, and JustLove Coffee Cafe in The Fountains at Gateway shopping complex.
