Lona, a restaurant brand in Denver-based Richard Sandoval Hospitality’s portfolio, is heading to Noelle, a hotel in Downtown Nashville at 200 Fourth Ave. N. It will take over the location that formerly housed Makeready L&L.
Lona, created by Chef Richard Sandoval and Chef Pablo Salas, is a modern Mexican cuisine concept. It has a location in Tampa as well as a concept in Fort Lauderdale.
“Lona aims to redefine the Mexican dining experience by combining traditional flavors with contemporary techniques and artistic presentation,” the Lona website states. “At Lona, guests will be immersed in a lively atmosphere that pays homage to Mexico’s rich culinary heritage while embracing the spirit of innovation.”
The menu offers dishes such as quesadillas, tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, and specials such as steak tampiqueña and salmon a la talla. There is also a margarita-centric beverage program.
Lona is expected to open in Nashville in early 2025, according to the Nashville Business Journal.
Richard Sandoval Hospitality manages 60 locations of multiple concepts across the U.S. as well as globally in places like Mexico, Greece and Costa Rica. The group’s concepts span 10 states and 12 countries.
