Local pop-up Slide Hustle is planning to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant called Slide Hustle on 3rd at 1323 3rd Ave. N, according to permit filings.
Slide Hustle, a pop-up known for its farm-to-table sliders, is run by Heidi Barrette. Barrette confirmed the forthcoming restaurant with What Now Nashville, though she could not immediately provide further comment.
Menu items for the pop-up include The Woodsey, a beef slider with sauteed local wild mushrooms, charred leek sauce, jarlsberg cheese and truffle aioli, and The Pickleback, a beef slider with house-pickled onions, dill pickles, American and cheddar cheese, arugula and chipotle mayo. Slide Hustle has been teasing its forthcoming brick-and-mortar throughout the fall alongside pop-ups.
Plans indicate that there will be outdoor and indoor dining areas at Slide Hustle on 3rd. Construction plans entail a deck extension and a pergola, according to the permit.Â
As of now, an exact opening timeline is still unknown. However, construction is still to come on the space. A recent announcement on Instagram indicated that the opening is a few months away.
