Tantísimo, the pan-Latin American café and restaurant, has announced the opening of its brick and mortar in Sylvan Park on Tuesday, May 6. Located at 306 46th Ave. N, Tantísimo will serve breakfast, lunch and espresso by day, as well as sharable plates and craft cocktails by night.

“We are excited to expand our farm-to-table restaurant concept within these historic walls,” said Ana Aguilar, co-executive chef and CEO of Tantísimo in a statement. “We draw inspiration for our food and beverage menus from the entirety of Latin America, while sourcing locally and sustainably. Our hope is that Tantísimo will be more than just a dining destination, becoming a place that unites communities and brings a sense of adventure to the table.”

Founded by Aguilar, Tantísimo began as a farmers market pop-up in 2020 selling Latin American pastries and baked goods. Tantísimo expanded to add savory dishes to their menu and later teamed up with Chef Joshua Cook to take residency in the now-closed Henry James kitchen. Paying homage to their Richland Park Farmers’ Market roots, the Sylvan Park brick and mortar will source from local farmers, sustainable global farms and their own experimental patches.

The café menu will include market favorites such as breakfast tacos and the Ludacrisp quesadilla, with rotating seasonal items. For dinner, guests can expect elevated dishes like Argentinian churrasco steak, seasonal plates, family-inspired recipes like the enchilada, as well as chef-driven specials. The bar program will feature a Latin American wine list, with fresh twists on Latin cocktails and a variety of global spirits such as rum, pisco, cachaça and agave. Tantísimo will feature a 56-person dining room, 10 bar seats, a small outdoor patio and an intimate private dining room.

To kick off their grand opening week, Tantísimo will host a Cinco de Mayo event on their patio on Monday, May 5 at 5 p.m. For tickets and further details, as well as reservations starting May 6, visit www.tantisimo.com.

Tantísimo is located at 306 46th Ave. N. and will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for café service and 5 to 10 p.m. for dinner service, Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Monday.
