According to a recent press release, Nudie’s Honky Tonk will host Tanya Tucker’s Cosa Salvaje tequila brand pop-up bar and cantina this spring. Chef Bryan Lareau will curate a menu to complement the libations for Tanya Tucker’s Tequila Cantina, slated to begin serving customers on May 2.

The primary purpose of the pop-up is to highlight Tucker’s Cosa Salvaje tequila brand as the main ingredient in its cocktails, paired with a food menu influenced by West Coast and Mexican cuisine. Tucker was recently induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2023 and has been a celebrated country music artist for almost sixty years. Tucker had her first hit, “Delta Dawn”, in 1972 at the age of 13.

The Cantina is in partnership with Bill Miller of Icon Entertainment & Hospitality, owner/operator of Nudie’s Honky Tonk.

“The second floor of Nudie’s will transform into a lively cantina-style bar, reflecting the spirit and charisma of Tanya Tucker herself. Patrons can expect an immersive experience that captures Tanya’s unique personality and love for fun,” the Nudie’s website describes.

“Shannon and I are thrilled to partner with our dear friend country music legend and icon Tanya Tucker on this incredible pop-up,” Miller said in the release. “This is going to be the most monumental pop-up Nashville has ever seen. Adding Tanya to the mix makes this project fun, exciting, and adventurous, just like she is,” he added.

Though there is not currently a set timeline for how long the pop-up will operate, it’s likely to take over Nudie’s second story for a month or longer. Customers can stay tuned for additional news on Nudie’s Honky Tonk’s website and Instagram page.
