Vinyl listening room and bar Groceries Etc. is slated to go into the upstairs area of the building at 1600 Woodland St. in East Nashville, according to permits.

The spot was previously home to Italia Pizza & Pasta. The building was purchased by a group that included Laura Lemon and Evan Lenoir, the husband-and-wife team behind Nashville-based beauty retailer Lemon Laine. They will be involved in ownership for the bar, according to reporting by the Nashville Business Journal.

The bar is expected to serve cocktails and bites in addition to serving as a listening space for vinyl records.

It is unclear when the bar will open. The Groceries Etc. Instagram page describes it as “East Nashville’s neighborhood vinyl listening room” that is “coming soon” to the neighborhood.

Lemon and Lenoir founded Lemon Laine in 2017 when they opened their first brick-and-mortar store in Nashville. It focuses on natural beauty and wellness products.
