A new swanky bar is coming to East Nashville. Neighboring local favorite The Fox Bar & Cocktail Club, Tiger Bar will be located at 2909B Gallatin Pike and is set to open sometime this year, though a grand-opening date has yet to be determined.

The owners of Pearl Diver, another fan-favorite located in East, are behind the new project. After the former Walden Bar closed at the beginning of 2022, it only took co-owners Jamie White, Ben Clemons, Corey Ladd and Matt Spicher a few months later to secure the location for the future home of Tiger Bar.

The four co-owners are veterans to the Nashville hospitality scene with many different businesses under their belt. Ladd and Spicher opened The Treehouse, a farm-to-table concept, in 2013. Ben Clemons co-owned bar No. 308 with Jamie White as the barman. No. 308 has since reopened as Camp, a National Parks themed bar, as reported by the Nashville Business Journal.

Tiger Bar is expected to be a “sideshow-inspired neo noir cocktail bar,” according to its Facebook page. The bar will offer shared small-plate offerings from their food menu to accompany its cocktail libations.

Its Instagram page promises that Tiger Bar will be “like no place on Earth,” and has documented construction progress as recently as Dec. 20, 2022.
