The team behind now-closed Timberloft Restaurant in Gordonsville is charting a return to the food and beverage industry. Their next project will land in Mt. Juliet, with plans to join Citi Station at the corner of North Mt. Juliet Road and East Division Street.
The new Timberloft era will introduce a new concept with elements of the old restaurant, co-owner Donna Jones told What Now Nashville. Timberloft will bring their popular fresh smoked meats to their Mt. Juliet location but is planning to hone their concept, shifting toward a new model.
“It’s the same quality and attention given to the smoked meats, but it’s not going to be a full menu and a full sit-down,” Jones said. “There will be some tables, but we’re focusing on fast-casual.”
Other menu offerings will include flavored iced teas and desserts.
Further information regarding design and menu are still forthcoming. Jones said that they are still in negotiations for their lease at Citi Station, so they expect to share more information as they get closer to opening.
Jones opened Timberloft Restaurant in Gordonsville in 1997 alongside her husband Kevin. They are targeting an opening in Q1 of 2026 in Mt. Juliet.
“We’re really excited to come into Mt. Juliet,” Jones said.
