Joe Vicari Restaurant Group is known for an array of acclaimed restaurants out of Michigan, including Joe Muer Seafood and Andiamo Presto, which were slated to open their first Nashville locations by January of 2023. However, due to build-out delays, Joe Muer will open later this year. The projected opening for Andiamo Presto is in late 2024.
“Andiamo Presto has been postponed because it’s hard enough to open one restaurant, let alone two. Andiamo Presto will open in late 2024,” Joe Vicari, founder and owner of the company, told What Now Nashville in an email.
The seafood and Italian restaurants are to open in the new Capitol View development building in the North Gulch area of Nashville at 500 11th Ave N.
Joe Vicari Restaurant Group has been based in Detroit for almost 30 years. Aside from an out-of-state location of Andiamo Italian Steakhouse in Las Vegas, Nashville will be the brand’s first major expansion outside of Michigan.
“It’s a big step. But we are excited to be doing so in Nashville, which has shown extraordinary growth over the years and has the demographics to support the concepts for our restaurant brands. Capitol View checked all the boxes of downtown access with a true neighborhood feeling,” Joe Vicari said in a press release.
Joe Muer Seafood will showcase a menu of fresh and locally caught shrimp, lobster and crab as well as offering prime cuts of filet mignon, New York strip, Tomahawk pork chop and roasted chicken. Andiamo Presto will offer handmade pastas, soups, paninis and desserts including cannolis and their own in-house, gourmet version of a Kit Kat bar, according to their online menu.
