According to recent permits, a new bar is slated for Midtown at 1919 Division St. from the minds behind Lonesome Ten Miles LLC. San Diego-based Good Times Design owner, Ty Hauter is the owner of the building and the LLC. The permit indicates the space may be used as either a bar or a nightclub, and will add 3,194 square feet to the existing building. The site was last home to Rebar, which closed in 2018.

An opening timeline is unknown as the construction process was just approved in early August. It’s likely the concept may not open doors to customers until 2024 or later.

Hauter is no stranger to hospitality. The restauranteur has seen the industry from both a design perspective and an ownership perspective from his other Californian concepts, Moonshine Flats, Moonshine Beach, Front Street Tavern, and Cerveza Jack’s in downtown Nashville. Tapping further into the Nashville market, it can be expected that Hauter’s new bar or nightclub might mirror the style of Hauter’s other concepts, bringing forth an upbeat atmosphere, space for entertainment or live music, and a curated menu of inspired eats.

As details emerge, What Now Nashville will report back with additional details regarding the official name and concept of the upcoming bar. Good Times Design officials were not immediately available for comment.
