Voodoo Brewing Co. is planning its first franchise location in Nashville. A permit has been filed with Metro for Voodoo Brewing on the ground floor at 429 Benton Avenue near Geodis Park.

A representative with the company confirmed with What Now Nashville that a location for the craft beer brand is heading to Nashville, and that the location will be operated by franchise owner Tyler Killian.

The permit indicates plans for interior renovations, including changes to the partitions, mezzanine, storefront, electric service and lighting.

Voodoo Brewing was founded in 2005 by brothers Matteo and Curt Rachocki. They opened their first taproom in 2012. Now, they have five corporate-owned locations in Pennsylvania, as well as 27 franchise locations across 10 states.

Voodoo Brewing is known for serving a variety of beers and cocktails.

“Voodoo Brewing Co. has a globally recognized brand, having received accolades from all over the world because of our attention to detail and quality of ingredients,” the Voodoo Brewing website states. “It is because of this attentiveness, product consistency and beer innovation that we are continually invited to the most prestigious festivals around the world.”

The Nashville location will be the first taproom for the brand in Tennessee. As of now, a timeline is unknown for the location’s opening.
