Entertainment and dining venue The Electric Jane at 1301 Divison St. is transitioning to a new model, with plans to relaunch as an exclusive members club this spring.

The Electric Jane opened in 2022, helmed by Jason Scoppa. He named the spot after his grandmother, Jane.

“She was the architect of our passion for hospitality, instilling in us a love for bringing people together. Jane ensured every gathering was a symphony of flavors and melodies, uplifting the spirit of each guest with music. She had a unique ability to touch hearts and bring smiles through every sense,” The Electric Jane website states. “The Electric Jane is a celebration of her spirit, inspired by our diverse heritage and the numerous places around the world she encouraged us to explore.”

John Wang and Sam Bakhshandehpour are also involved in the venture. Bakshandehpour is also CEO of the José Andrés Group.

For members, the spot will feature dining, live music, comedy and more, according to reporting by the Nashville Business Journal. Scoppa told the Business Journal they are looking for members passionate about the arts and music, and they hope to launch by late April.

The Electric Jane also shared on its Instagram page that there will be a new cigar lounge as part of the new concept.
