Baton Rouge DJ Making Plans to Open a Latin Dance Night Club

The club is being brought to the area by Kevin Monje, an area DJ that mixes Latin music and also goes by the name DJ Fresh.

Mambo Night Club is making plans to open in Baton Rouge. According to a recent Baton Rouge planning commission meeting, the club has applied to open at 2083 Dallas Dr. Mambo Night Club is being brought to the area by Kevin Monje, an area DJ that mixes Latin music and also goes by the name DJ Fresh. 

According to information written in Spanish in the About section on Mambo Night Club’s Facebook page, it’s a new weekend night dance club featuring Latin dance music that is coming soon to the Baton Rouge area.

At the moment it appears Monje is performing at area clubs as well as releasing mixes of Latin music via social media and growing his following online, as his personal Facebook page currently has over 6,000 followers. 

What Now New Orleans reached out to Monje for more information about the timeline for opening Mambo Night Club, but didn’t receive an immediate response.
