According to permit documents filed with the City of New Orleans, a new business called Fur Baby Coffee & Café is coming to Uptown at 4826 Magazine St. Located in a former Engel & Volkers real estate office, the new cafe will have a full espresso bar after current non-structural renovations are completed. While the name suggests the new cafe will be pet-friendly, permit filings do not mention any related details. What Now New Orleans has reached out for information. An opening date has been set for January.
There are many other restaurants along this stretch of Magazine Street, but no true cafes in the immediate area.
