The very popular Jet Coffee location in Lafayette is set to expand into the adjacent space with a new roasting facility and coffee bar. Located at 101 Camino Real Road, the flagship location will be more able to accommodate the long lines that regularly extend out of the building.

The new Jet Coffee extension slated to open in February 2024 will be dubbed The Hangar and it will feature two new coffee roasters: a smaller one that will likely be used for in-house purposes, and a larger roaster for wholesale. The Hangar will also have a small coffee bar where guests will be able to order single-origin coffees and coffee flights. The extension will also showcase latte art from baristas. The roasting facility will be separated from the existing coffee shop by sliding windows that are built to resemble the large sliding doors seen on airplane hangers.

The long lines regularly seen at Jet Coffee are a testament to the coffee shop’s popularity. Fans of jet coffee regularly praise its robust coffee, reasonable prices, smartly-designed menu, and excellent service that includes staffers taking orders from people in line.
