The building is constructed on a vacant gas station and is aimed at providing affordable, supportive, and transitional housing. The Logan Fountain housing complex has a total of 343 housing units. Sixty-eight units will go to families earning 70% of the area’s median income. Any family in need of on-site support services will have a supportive housing option of 105 units at the Logan Fountain. Residents will have access to on-site referrals for healthcare, career counseling, and any other sort of support.
One unit is reserved for an on-site superintendent. Now, the last 169 units are for transitional housing. HELP USA will offer on-site services for families with children in these units. From case management and employment counseling to housing placement support, families will get help for every need.

Supporting Initiatives and Funding Authorities Behind Logan Fountain
Logan Fountain became a success with the partnership of the City and State to address the housing crisis smartly. Overall, it was a $214 million project developed by Hudson Companies. MHG Architects offered infrastructural services, and other related clients on the project are DCV Holdings, HELP USA for transitional housing, and the Jericho Project for support services. The investments came from:
- New York City Department of Social Services (DSS)
- New York City Housing Preservation and Development (HPD)
- New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR)
- Operational funding by the New York City 15/15 Supportive Housing Program.
- $1 million funding from the New York City Council
- $200,000 incentives from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority
Further support came from HCR’s Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program. DSS facilitated not-for-profit ownership for apartments reserved for transitional housing.
