AO Hospitality appears to be planning a new concept on the Lower East Side.

The company recently filed paperwork for a new full-service restaurant at 67 Clinton Street, with plans to take over the basement as well as the first and second floors.

At this time, it is unclear precisely what the concept will be. As of now, the paperwork does not reveal a name for the concept.

AO Hospitality, led by Ruizhao Ao, has been making waves recently across Brooklyn and Manhattan with multiple projects in the works. The company is behind HUPO in Long Island City and SHAN in Brooklyn, which both serve authentic Szechuan food.

The company also has ongoing projects including Fleur in Brooklyn, which will serve Shanghai cuisine, as well as Chinese Odyssey and cafe-bar concept Cafe Odyssey, which are slated to open in the Chelsea area in 2025. Both of the Chelsea concepts will focus on Chinese and Szechuan cuisine.

The AO Hospitality website lists a to-be-announced restaurant featuring Japanese cuisine alongside their other brands. It is unclear if the Japanese restaurant is the spot the company filed paperwork for at 67 Clinton Street.

The timeline for the new concept remains unknown, but it appears to be in the early stages of development.
