Catch Hospitality Group has taken over the space at 86 Bedford Street, previously home to the short-lived Frog Club. The space also housed speakeasy Chumley’s, which opened its doors in 1922.

Catch Hospitality partners Eugene Remm, Mark Birnbaum and Tilman Fertitta have signed a lease for the space and plan to structure the concept at least somewhat around the history of Chumley’s in the space, according to Eater NY. However, details remain murky and an opening timeline for the yet-to-be-named concept is unclear at this time.

Catch Hospitality Group opened the first Catch location in New York in 2011 and since then has expanded to multiple cities across the country, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Dallas. They have plans to open a Catch location in Scottsdale, Ariz., this year. Remm is also behind the popular upscale restaurant The Corner Store, which opened in SoHo this past fall.

The group also has a Mediterranean spot in the works for SoHo, with plans to open that location later this year.
