A new bar is on the way to the Lower East Side. Chip’s will open at 205 Broome St., according to community board filings.

Owner Ian Glazer shared with What Now New York that the spot is in the early stages of development and more information is forthcoming later in the year. However, he did share that it will be designed to be a neighborhood sports bar.

The menu is expected to offer items like burgers, wings and salads, according to filed paperwork. Plans call for four tables that will seat 32 and one 12-seat bar.

The proposed hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily.

Glazer is also behind neighborhood pizzeria Grand Street Pizza on the Lower East Side.
