A new soccer-centric concept is heading to 141 Chrystie Street, according to liquor license paperwork filed with the community board. The restaurant-bar concept, whose name is still listed as “TBD” in the paperwork appears to be replacing fellow soccer-themed concept No One Home, which is listed as “temporarily closed” at the address on Google.

The new concept will occupy the basement, first and second floor. The paperwork indicates that the first floor will serve as a full-service restaurant, while the second floor will serve as a lounge for watching sports events. Plans call for 24 tables that will seat 104 and two stand-up bars that will seat 21.

The restaurant will serve American cuisine, including oysters, shrimp cocktails, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese boards, smash burgers, sandwiches and pan-roasted cauliflower steak.

Richard Kim, Justin Robinson, David Turner, Andrew Flynn and Dylan Hales are the team behind the new concept.

Kim is the founder of New York-based investment firm 380 Cap, LLC, which focuses on funding start-ups. Robinson is an investor who previously founded e-commerce company Drizly, which was acquired by Uber in 2021.

Turner has two decades of hospitality experience as a controller and beverage director, working at companies like Major Food Group. He has served as controller at The Flower Shop and Little Ways Restaurants since 2016. Flynn has more than 20 years of experience working in marketing and front-of-house operations. Most recently, he has served as marketing director for The Flower Shop and Little Ways Restaurants since 2016. Hales has 25 years of hospitality experience and has worked as manager at local spots like Ruby’s Cafe, Kingswood and Rugby Cafe by RALPH LAUREN. He has served as the director of operations and events for The Flower Shop and Little Ways Restaurants since 2016.

The proposed hours of operation for the spot are 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday, with hours extended to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

As of now, an opening timeline remains unclear.
