Jack’s Wife Freda, owned by husband and wife Dean and Maya Jankelowitz, is currently planning their sixth location in Williamsburg Brooklyn at 258 Wythe Avenue.

The Israeli-South African restaurant, according to its website, is known for “greeting everyone like family, with staff and servers who have as much fun as [their] customers.” The name comes from Dean Jankelowitz’s grandparents Jack and Freda, “invoking the memories of being welcomed home again by loved ones.”

Jack’s Wife Freda opened their first establishment on Lafayette Street in SoHo in 2011, and continued to expand to West Village, Chelsea, and even two international locations in Tokyo, Japan.

Open until ten p.m. seven days a week, Jack’s Wife Freda is best known for all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From sandwiches to Israeli and South African cuisine, restaurant goers have plenty to choose from off the menu.

As of now, no opening date has been set. What Now New York tried to reach Dean Jankelowitz for more information, but he was unavailable by phone. However, Jack’s Wife Freda has let its social media followers know the new location will be “coming soon.”
