A new sushi restaurant, Yo Yo Sushi, will join the Moynihan train’s food hall on 383 W 31st Street.
It will be the first sushi restaurant on site, joining the nearly two dozen other eateries at the train’s food hall. Its menu will include rolls, chirashi and donburi rice bowls, omakase, and tuna and salmon Japanese “tacos,” as well as beer, wine and cider, according to the liquor license application submitted to Manhattan’s Community Board 4. It plans to be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The grand opening has not been decided yet, says Michael Ryder, a public relations representative for the food hall.
“They are not quite ready to promote as they are still ironing out details regarding their opening at the food hall,” Ryder told What Now New York.
The food hall’s website says the restaurant is Yo Yo Sushi by Bondst, which is the name of a high-end Japanese restaurant in Noho. However it is currently unclear what the relationship between the two establishments are.
