Palermo Argentinian Bistro is bringing its signature flavors to SoHo in the former Papatzul Soho location at 55 Grand St. According to documents filed with the city, the menu will stay true to the bistro’s roots by specializing in Argentinian grilled meats and dishes. Menu highlights include Argentinian parrillada (grilled meats), empanadas, and a raw bar. This culinary program is anchored by high-quality cuts of meat, which have defined Palmero’s reputation for making Argentinian food both accessible and high-quality for New York diners. What Now New York has reached out for more information.

The new 2,720-square-foot space, split evenly between the ground floor and basement, will adopt the brand’s signature cozy aesthetic. The interior is designed to accommodate 65 total guests, with 9 seats at the full bar. The beverage program is expected to highlight Argentinian wines and cocktails. Under operator Orhan Cakir, the new bistro should have the same elevated neighborhood vibe and top-notch service that Palmero is known for at its other locations.
