On Thursday, April 23, the cult-favorite NYC slice shop celebrates its Brooklyn Grand Opening at 271 Smith Street, marking its first expansion in NYC since its original Nolita debut in 2012. And true to form, this isn’t just an opening, it’s a full-scale cultural moment.
To mark the occasion, Prince St. Pizza is partnering with Italian sportswear designer Sergio Tacchini, bringing together two brands rooted in Italian heritage and shaped by New York culture. The result: a fashion-meets-food takeover that turns opening day into something much bigger than a typical restaurant launch.
Partnership highlights include:
- Custom Sergio Tacchini velour uniforms for Brooklyn staff in a bold “Hot Sauce” colorway
- A weeklong activation: customers who visit any Prince St. Pizza location during the week of the Brooklyn opening wearing Sergio Tacchini will receive a complimentary slice
- Limited-edition Sergio Tacchini x Prince St. Pizza pizza boxes rolling out nationwide, featuring QR codes linking to exclusive SS26 fashion content
- A special menu moment: Prince St.’s “Prince Perfection” slice will be renamed the “Sergio Tacchini Perfection” at the Brooklyn location, available throughout April
On opening day, doors will be open from 12PM to 12AM, with the first 25 guests receiving a $25 credit, alongside custom co-branded pizza boxes and the debut of the Sergio Tacchini Perfection slice.
