Neil Wong has filed paperwork for a liquor license at 220 Bowery, which houses The Nolita Express. The space formerly belonged to Pearl & Ash.

The “TBD” concept will serve traditional, budget-friendly American comfort food with a focus on fresh seafood, according to the paperwork.

Wong told What Now New York the space will focus heavily on private events. It will have 13 tables that will seat a total of 26 people and one bar that will seat nine.

Paperwork indicates plans for live music and other live entertainment. The proposed menu features items like oysters, shrimp, cod cakes, and salmon sashimi.

Wong has also filed paperwork for a concept at 218 Bowery. What Now New York confirmed in a phone call with Wong that he hopes to obtain a temporary liquor license by April, with hopes to move forward with plans in May or June.
