The Test Brewery has been hosting pop-ups to share its latest creations with the public. The Brooklyn-based business has been familiarizing locals with their beers before officially opening the doors to their new brick-and-mortar location.

As of the publication of this article, the beer listed on their online store is a double IPA called “A Finite View of the Infinite”. In the past they have sold others called “The Consecration of Graffiti”, “Tokyo Fixer”, and “The Four Sights”.The team at The Test Brewery frequently sell cans out of their new space at 302 Metropolitan Ave. even as renovations to the space are ongoing.

In a recent write-up by Greenpointers, The Test Brewery will have a phased opening starting with the backyard space this summer. There is no word yet on when either the outdoor or indoor space will open.

Ben Clayton and his partner Jane Moriarty are behind The Test Brewery. Per Greenpointer’s reporting, the duo hope to be able to accommodate food trucks around their brewery and create a tasting room at some point as well.

Clayton was not immediately able to respond to What Now NY’s request for a comment.

According to an agenda for Community Board 1’s SLA review committee, The Testing Brewery’s application was on the docket in late March. The Test Brewery was also listed on a June 1 agenda for a 500 Foot Hearing by the SLA given that there are already three on-premise liquor licenses within 500 feet of 302 Metropolitan Ave.
