After nearly a decade, Charlie Palmer Steak is set to close its First Street location. The upscale American steakhouse will serve its final meal on April 12. The restaurant plans to focus on the upcoming steakhouse concept in downtown Napa.
Charlie Palmer Steak to Close First Street Location
Charlie Palmer Steak, located inside the Archer Hotel Napa, has operated as a high-end steakhouse in downtown Napa for the last nine years. Known for its signature artisanal American beef and seafood dishes, the restaurant serves delicious breakfast and dinner options, along with an extensive wine selection.
Popular items on the menu include a 24-oz bone-in ribeye, Wagyu pastrami hash, and center-cut filet mignon.
In an Instagram post, the team announced the closure. The team said, “On April 12, we’ll conclude operations.”
The restaurant team also expressed gratitude for the community and staff and said, “We’re grateful for every guest, every team member, and every moment shared.”
As the restaurant is saying goodbye to its Archer location, the team noted, “Charlie Palmer Steak Napa has called Archer Hotel Napa home since 2017, and what a journey it’s been.”
New Wine Country Steakhouse Planned
Although the First Street location at Archer Hotel Napa is closing, the team says a new concept is in the works.
“For Charlie Palmer Steak, plans for a new steakhouse home in wine country are in the works. For Archer, that means focusing on their role as downtown Napa’s gathering place,” said the team.
