Bahama Breeze Closes 15 Outlets
Restaurant giant Bahama Breeze Island Grille began its culinary footsteps in the U.S. almost three decades ago. Its Caribbean-inspired flavors and grilling process made the Florida eating establishment a beloved restaurant.
It’s seafood, steak, and chicken, along with tropical drinks, became a staple, and Bahama Breeze grew its horizons across the U.S.
However, the popular restaurant chain is set to shut down its 15 outlets all around the country. The news was confirmed after several of its outlets signs announcing their sudden closures.
A Gainesville-based Bahama Breeze facility admitted permanent closure and requested guests to visit another nearby sister restaurant. Another Naples-based outlet, which had opened just 11 months ago, also shuttered.

The Restaurant Chain Cites Performance Issues
The spokesperson at multiple restaurant owners, Darden Restaurants, Kiara Buckner, confirmed the closure of the Florida-based food brand. She emphasized that Bahama Breeze’s shutdown was inevitable when selecting the highest-performing outlets.
Buckner accepted that the decision would affect the guests and staff of the 1996-launched restaurant chain. But doing so was important so that Bahama Breeze could enhance its overall results.
What Lies Ahead for Bahama Breeze?
While the news of 15 location closures of Bahama Breeze is making rounds, the restaurant chain will continue food operations in its other outlets. Guests in those U.S. states can keep relishing Caribbean-inspired eats while it works towards bettering operations.
