The 2025 Georgia Peach Festival will be a celebration of the season’s harvest in Peach County. It will also be an appreciation of the local farmers who grow these delicious fruits for all to enjoy.

The festival will feature a wide variety of peach-themed dishes, all made from locally grown peaches. One of the most attractive features of the festival is the peach cobbler that is prepared every year and served for free to all attendees. Prepared in the eleven-by-five-foot vat that is eight inches deep, this peach cobbler is the world’s largest.

Obviously, a massive amount of ingredients go into making this cobbler – 75 gallons of peaches, 90 pounds of butter, 32 gallons of milk, and 150 pounds of sugar, to be exact. It takes a team one whole night to prepare this massive dish, and it is one of the highlights of the festival.

Peach County – Home to the World’s Heaviest Peach

The world’s largest peach was found in Peach County back in 2018. The Guinness-certified peach, which weighed 1 lb 12 oz, was grown at Pearson Farms in Fort Valley. This achievement made Peach County a star location in the industry.

More details and the schedule of the 2025 Georgia Peach Festival will be announced soon on the official website. Those who plan to attend this festival can expect an amazing set of experiences, flavors, and vibes.
