Rita’s and Abbott Elementary Introduce Limited-Time Mango Ice Flavor
Abbott Elementary returns for season 5 on October 1, and to celebrate, Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is launching Faculty Favorite Mango Ice. This new flavor will be a limited-time flavor inspired by the Emmy Award-winning comedy.
The new Mango Ice can be ordered in Rita’s signature creations, including a Mango Gelati layered with Vanilla Frozen Custard or blended into a Mango Ice Blender.
According to the PRNewswire, Linda Chadwick, President and CEO of Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, shared, “Rita’s is proud to support ABC’s Abbott Elementary, a series that shares our Philadelphia roots and strong community connection.”
The new Mango Ice first debuted this summer at Abbott Elementary’s “A Very Abbott Block Party” in San Diego, where fans also enjoyed playful flavors like Ava-Licious Apple, Recess Raspberry, and Tenure Tart Cherry.
Now, Rita’s is expanding and bringing the Abbott-inspired treat nationwide for a limited time.
Limited Time Offers With Extra Credit Wednesdays
Alongside the new flavor, Rita’s is also rolling out a limited-time promotion called Extra Credit Wednesdays. Rita’s announced an exclusive ‘Extra Credit Wednesdays’ offer through October 15. Every Wednesday from September 17 to October 15, Rita’s app users will automatically receive a Buy One, Get One Free Treat reward to use that same day at participating shops nationwide.
