Burger chain Five Guys is launching a limited-time “after-party” promotion for customers. The chain is offering a buy-one-get-one cheeseburger deal from March 9 through March 12. The promotion follows the company’s original BOGO offer launched on February 17, to celebrate its 40th anniversary. However, the promotion led to supply shortages at some locations due to unexpectedly high demand.

Five Guys Launches Four-Day BOGO Deal Following Anniversary Rush

Five Guys is a burger chain known for its customizable, made-to-order burgers and hand-cut fries cooked in peanut oil. It began in 1986 as a small carry-out restaurant in Arlington, Virginia. Over the last four decades, the chain has grown to more than 1,900 locations worldwide. The menu focuses on fresh ingredients prepared daily.

The company is offering customers another chance at the buy-one-get-one cheeseburger deal after its earlier 40th-anniversary promotion faced supply issues. Food news account Snackolator shared the announcement on social media, writing,“Five Guys is giving us an after-party of BOGO burgers this week.”

The deal will be available for a limited time from March 9 through March 12. The BOGO deal can be redeemed once per account with a promotional code.

Five Guys will release the promotional code on March 9, the same day the promotion begins. Once the code is announced, customers can apply it when placing an order to receive the buy-one-get-one cheeseburger deal.

Five Guys Adds Afterparty Deal After 40th Anniversary Rush

The restaurant chain celebrated its 40th anniversary with grand deals on February 17 and drew widespread attention online. Many fans eagerly took part in the limited-time BOGO deal. However, the unexpected demand caused supply shortages at several locations.

Following the incident, the company issued an apology and acknowledged that customers who could not redeem the offer deserved a better experience.

The team behind the company said, “The promotion spread far beyond what we anticipated, and our hardworking crews were placed in a difficult situation. Some locations ran out of product and had to close early.”

To make up for the issue, Five Guys has announced this new “after-party” promotion that will run for several days this week.

The brand also teased fans with an Instagram post: “40 years, 4 more days to celebrate. Join our 40th birthday #AfterParty. Stay tuned for more details.”

By extending the offer across four days, Five Guys hopes to give customers a smoother experience while still celebrating the brand’s 40-year milestone.
