Popular fast-food chain McDonald’s is set to introduce a bigger, heartier burger for customers in the United States next week. After performing well in Canada, the Big Arch burger will roll out nationwide starting March 3. The burger features two quarter-pound beef patties and is loaded with melted cheese.

McDonald’s Big Arch Burger Arrives Across the U.S.

As the competition in the fast-food market grows, McDonald’s is updating its menu to stay ahead. The iconic chain has been a global staple for decades, offering its signature crunchy fries, a variety of burgers, and beverages.

McDonald’s will roll out the Big Arch burger at locations across the nation on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. According to the food-focused social media page Snackolator, the burger is launching in the U.S. after gaining popularity in Canada.

Snackolator shared, “This is a GINORMOUS burger, and it’s basically a double quarter-pounder burger with loads of cheese and a new sauce.”

The Big Arch burger comes with two quarter-pound patties made from signature McDonald’s 100% beef. It includes three slices of melted white cheddar cheese and is topped with crispy onions, pickles, and lettuce.

The burger also features Big Arch Sauce, a creamy and tangy blend with hints of mustard, pickle, and sweetness. Everything is served on a toasted sesame and poppy seed bun.

Customers can turn the Big Arch burger into a full meal by adding fries and a soft drink. The Big Arch Meal comes with medium World Famous Fries and a medium soft drink of choice.

The Big Arch burger contains 1,610 calories. It provides 58 grams of protein, 172 grams of total carbohydrates, and 80 grams of total fat.

The arrival of the Big Arch burger has generated significant buzz on social media. With its larger size and extra meat and cheese, the Big Arch burger marks another major menu addition for McDonald’s.
