A Sweet Celebration of Domino’s 65th Birthday
According to PRNewswire, Domino’s is promoting one of its most popular desserts on its birthday on December 9. Between 8 and 22 December, customers will receive a free Chocolate Lava Crunch Cake with a minimum purchase of $10.
All it takes for shoppers to access the offer is to enter the code “HAPPYBDAY” at checkout.
The complimentary dessert adds an indulgent touch to the celebration. Each order includes three oven-baked Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes filled with hot molten fudge and finished with a dusting of powdered sugar.
Joe Jordan, president and chief operating officer (COO), Domino’s (U.S. operations), said the company is marking its 65th birthday with a special treat for its customers. “There would be no Domino’s without its loyal customers, so we hope they join us in celebrating the last 65 years with this sweet treat of a deal,” Jordan added.
About Domino’s Pizza
Domino’s began in 1960 as a single pizza shop in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It gradually increased its presence over the decades and started international expansion.
As time went on, it expanded its menu. Besides the introduction of non-pizza products, such as breadsticks (1992) and buffalo wings (1994), it introduced its popular Handmade Pan Pizza and increased the number of stores all over the world.
The company also became massively technology-focused, with online and mobile ordering available by 2007. It also introduced features such as live order tracking.
The nationwide giveaway adds a festive touch to Domino’s birthday celebration. The free Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes promotion highlights Domino’s focus on value-driven deals that keep customers coming back.
