In response to customer demand for a sweet option, drive-thru restaurant chain Salad and Go has introduced new menu items. It is the first time that the brand has added something sweet to its menu. The new gluten-free Chewy Marshmallow Bar features browned butter and a caramelized finish.

Salad and Go continues its innovative streak by bringing sweet treats to stores. The rollout also includes two new beverages.

The new items mark an expansion of the Salad and Go’s menu. Recently, Slow-Roasted Chicken was also a part of its expanding product variety. Additionally, the new items are marked at prices that reflect the brand’s consistent commitment to affordability.

Along with the sweet treat, the brand has also added two new drinks to the menu. The new Toasted Marshmallow Lemonade and Toasted Marshmallow Cold Brew join the beverage lineup. With hints of vanilla and caramelized marshmallow, the former is a bright, citrusy lemonade, while the latter is a cold brew coffee.

The two drinks are topped with creamy cold foam and are available for a limited time only. Additionally, they are all priced under $5 and are available at all locations since December 3, 2025.

Customer-Centric Approach Drives Menu Innovation

Daniel Patino, co-founder and executive chef of Salad and Go, said the team continually listens to guest feedback and uses it to develop menu items that complement the brand’s existing offerings.

“After recently launching our new, slow-roasted chicken, we’re continuing to build our broader menu innovation strategy with the introduction of a sweet treat and new beverages,” said Tom Carusona, the chief marketing officer of Salad and Go. “At Salad and Go, we’re committed to offering variety, quality, convenience, and sweet options to elevate your salad experience.”

Data from Circana shows that 62% of Americans consider small treats an essential part of everyday life.
