After 52 years, we are ready to retire,” the post by the owners, Oop and Sandy Raffel, read. The owners said they tried for over a year to sell the business, but Polaris, the powersports manufacturer, did not approve the sale.
“We tried selling our business for over a year and a half. We had many, many potential buyers, but Polaris would not accept any of them. So, with deep regret and sadness, we are closing our doors on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025,” the post said.
