Melting Pot is adding its signature cheese and chocolate at-home products to the shelves of more than 2,500 grocery stores in the U.S. This marks the beloved fondue restaurant chain’s biggest retail rollout since it first introduced its ready-to-heat fondue products in 2023.
Melting Pot Takes a Taste of Home: Major Retail Expansion
PRNewswire reports that Melting Pot’s selection of at-home cheese and chocolate fondues can now be found at the country’s well-known grocery chains. Some names that are selling the signature fondues include Harris Teeter, Amazon Fresh, Publix, Safeway Mountain West, and Safeway Southwest.
The latest at-home products are inspired by the popular fondue restaurant chain’s recipes, serving over 3 million restaurant guests per year.
Bringing Fondue to American Kitchens
Melting Pot’s newly available products allow U.S. buyers to bring the 50-year-old brand’s restaurant experience from its 90-plus dining spots to their kitchens. The cheese and chocolate fondues can be enjoyed in minutes with their ready-to-heat-and-eat features that do not require a fondue pot.
“While nothing beats Melting Pot’s in-restaurant experience, Melting Pot at Home is making it easier for people to enjoy fondue when they can’t make it into the restaurant,” said Jennifer Lukas-Bourgeois, director of retail at Melting Pot. “Whether it’s a weeknight dinner, hosting friends, or celebrating something special, Melting Pot at Home brings our signature cheese and chocolate fondues to your table between restaurant visits.”
Melting Pot’s latest at-home fondue line’s expansion to nationwide grocery stores comes right ahead of the holiday season and winter. Customers across the U.S. can pick their choice of fondues for game days, winter nights, and holiday dinners.
Founded in 1975, the popular American fondue restaurant chain serves over 3 million guests across 31 U.S. states and Canada. Melting Pot’s cherished offerings include salads, entrees, cheeses, and chocolate desserts.
With the recent nationwide grocery expansion, Melting Pot makes it easy for U.S. customers to enjoy its admired fondues at home, even during holidays and winter gatherings.
