According to the company’s press release, the Colorado grocery retailer’s newest organic egg pasta items are made in Italy. The pastas are made with fresh eggs and durum wheat semolina. The Natural Grocers Brand Organic Egg Pasta items lack preservatives, synthetic colors, or artificial flavors.
Following traditional Italian methods, the team skips mechanical pressing to preserve the pasta’s texture and aroma. The retailer’s slow-drying technique creates a surface to showcase sauces and flavors.
“Premium, authentic egg pasta starts with the finest ingredients, but that’s only the beginning,” said Raquel Isely, vice president of marketing at Natural Grocers. “Once the dough is made, it’s shaped without mechanical pressing to preserve its delicate fragrance and texture. Then it’s slowly dried, giving it the perfect surface to hold onto the flavors, sauces, and herbs you love. Whether you’re simmering a single bowl of noodle soup, or gathering friends and family around the table, we invite you to enjoy the taste and tradition of our pasta — and still have enough money left for the sauce, sides, or even a dessert.”
Special Introductory Prices
Each of the three new varieties is priced at $4.29 through September 27 as a special introductory offer. Starting September 28, the regular price of the Natural Grocers varieties will be $4.79 per 8.8 oz package.
