Nordstrom Expands in Pennsylvania with Two New Rack Locations
Nordstrom, Inc., has announced plans to expand its off-price retail division, Nordstrom Rack. It is known for offering customers up to 70% off on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty products, and more. The expansion plans are targeted to Pennsylvania, where the brand will open two new stores this fall.
According to PRNewswire, the new stores will open in Pennsylvania’s Exton and Media. The new stores will bring deep discounts to shoppers while introducing more customers to the Nordstrom experience.
Location Details
The new locations will open in popular shopping centers in Exton and Media. The Exton store will span more than 30,000 square feet on Main Street, joining retailers like Walmart, Lidl, Barnes & Noble, Michaels, and Sephora.
Exton’s Main Street is owned and managed by Wolfson Group, Inc., a local commercial real estate firm that develops and manages shopping centers in the region.
The Media location will span 30,000 square feet at Promenade at Granite Run, joining stores like T.J. Maxx, Michaels, Kohl’s, IKEA, and Boscov’s. The shopping center is managed by BET Investments, a local firm that develops and operates retail properties.

The new Nordstrom Rack stores will offer customers the Nordstrom experience along with great deals. Customers will also be able to access core services of the brand, like online order pickup, easy returns, and alterations at select stores. The online order pickup is for both Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com.

While its customer service continues to impress shoppers, the brand continues to grow its physical footprint. Pennsylvania currently has two Nordstrom stores and seven Nordstrom Rack stores. These stores currently support more than 1,000 jobs in Pennsylvania, a total set to grow as the new locations open.
