Bed Bath & Beyond announced the $10 million purchase of the Kirkland Home brand on September 15. The $10 million deal aims to expand the Kirkland Home brand nationwide and acquire related assets from The Brand House Collective.

Bed Bath & Beyond Purchases Kirkland Home

According to the Businesswire report, Bed Bath & Beyond acquired Kirkland Home, a brand known for home decor, seasonal gifts, and stylish furnishings. The $10 million acquisition will speed up plans to convert Kirkland stores into Bed Bath & Beyond locations, expanding the brand’s national footprint.

Bed Bath & Beyond, a U.S.-based retail and e-commerce company, operates multiple brands including Overstock and buybuy BABY, offering home goods and lifestyle products nationwide. The company owns and operates Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock, buybuy BABY, and a blockchain asset portfolio.

Kirkland Home Expands and Rebrands Under New Deal

Bed Bath & Beyond’s acquisition of Kirkland, a brand with a 60-year history, is expected to boost operational efficiency and expand its presence across both physical stores and online channels. The company plans to bring Kirkland’s seasonal home decor and furnishings to the wholesale market, opening a new revenue channel.

Bed Bath & Beyond will maintain its existing collaboration fee while now including revenue from wholesale sales.

Through store conversions, wholesale expansion, and product growth, Bed Bath & Beyond is strengthening its brand and building a nationwide footprint.
